MHMMMM FOOD FOOD MORE FOOD :)







Hello Internet world,
I hope all is having a amazing weekend. I hope your staying warm,and getting your Christmas shopping done and well just relax. Enjoy some you time. One thing I love to do is Cook. I find it relaxing and well I love the challenge and you know feeling like wolf gang puck in my kitchen :) So today's blog is not so much on my working out. Which I did I had a rest day, Then did legs and back and ab ripper x and then also some plyometrics. There so you got my weekend workout plus did plenty of walking around malls and stores :) So back to Food. I look and google and search and read all types of recipes. Since I love being in the kitchen and believe in the saying that is a woman's place. I like having new and fresh or classic recipes. I also now like having a bunch of clean or 500 or less calorie meals. and Tasty ones at that. So I here are some of the few I have tryed have pictures of and well just good and maybe a little different then what we are used to I get sick of fish and chicken all the time!!!!
So first recipe is going to be out of my Fitness magazine: Mhmmmmmmm Seared Steak
with eggplant saute
Ok now I cant lie I changed it up. I am still learning to like new food and eggplant is one of them and since the picture looked good I wondered could I switch perhaps eggplant for Zucchini and squash?? Of course beauty about food haha so when cooking for 2 usually my sister and I but if you cook for single just used half of ingredients
what you need:
8oz of skirt steak
1 zucchini
1 squash
1/2 tomato
5 cherry mozzarella or 1oz of feta(I used fresh mozzarella Italian cheese healthier)
2 leave of arugula
1/4 red onion
2 tbs of minced garlic

What you have in your pantry
Pepper
salt
olive oil

its really easy to make just cut your steak in to slices then let it sit in a bowl with olive oil minced garlic a half onion and stir around make sure each slice of steak is covered if you have splash some wine I threw a splash of white wine in there for it to marinade for a min use red too if you like :) while that is sitting there for a second you can take your veggies and take your zucchini and squash and dice it up. add red onion and tomato.
Turn on oven to 350

Now both are ready to cook you first sear the meat I place some olive oil in the pan for not even two min I pan fry the meat you should still see some pink..
Then after all you piece of meat have fry ed a bit cooked half brown you place in another baking pan and place in oven for 10 mins at 350 your oven should already be preheated.
At this point you can pan fry you veggies pour a spoon or two of olive oil heat your pan throw in your veggies I had a little bit of black beans left over from the night before I rinse and threw them the mix to why not why waste food. so a the veggies have been saute I threw a little dash with no salt in the mix mhmm great seasoning.
take everything out and serve once on plate you can add to the veggies diced mozzarella and I used arugula instead of mint But always use what you have don't go buy a 50.00 dinner I spent 13 bucks and feed my sister and I. Here is a picture and I hope if any of you try this you enjoy it as much as I did :)it was yummy

Ok so next recipe is My Stuffed Green pepper Meatloaf it was yummy!!! This is a single serving recipe if you want to make it for more just double or ect
what you need
1 whole green pepper
5 oz of ground turkey
half can of salsa
a veggie of your choice
I used green beans you can use whatever you like!
1/3 black beans

what you may have in pantry or fridge
pepper
garlic powder
ketchup
graded Romano or Parmesan cheese


Directions just mix your turkey with salsa and pepper and garlic powder leave in a bowl while you cut and clean your pepper, once ready stuff your turkey in your green pepper and once stuffed place on pan and sprinkle graded Romano on top. Cut your green beans I always use fresh green beans but you can use the green giant steamers if so just pop in microwave but I boil and then pan fry mine I like fresh produce and cost the same so I boil to clean any bacteria that may be in them. and then throw them in the pan with a little olive oil and garlic. and black beans I was gonna have rice but changed my mind lol.

I hope you everyone out there likes my recipes and will have more for ya today is Sunday and I love Sunday dinner trying another one of these fitness magazine dinners. Will have some more pics for ya and workout details and I will eating very clean the next few days cause there is going to be a lot of booze and good food starting Friday and the whole next week after I pretty much wont give a flip till New Years day yes I start my workout hard core new years no missing days no cheat day nothing no excuses I am going on my next cruise in April as a 3rd time P90x Grad and Hopefully A 2 times Insanity victim :) I do really want to try doubles. I have a great friend who is about to test his limits and its kinda of a way to test mine. He is a former marine who wakes up at 4 am and works out every morning and his body wow and the last year he didn't believe in the dvd bullshit and guess what 36 ls later he is like yea I will try it with ya yay!!!! SO he is going to do insanity with me so Hopefully I am going to knock out both he will push me since I hear from him ever day anyway and I will be held accountable and then there is my girls Lynda,alicia,tanya,Mandy and to everyone who is doing p90x and is holding me accountable for that too this year Beachbody rock hard body 25 lbs gone body!!!! or at least 20 I wont lie I dont know how small I can......... but hey lets see lol I hope everyone has a great sunday Remember first rule of losing weight is losing the junk food. Ass, Abs, Attitude /P90x


Hello Internet World,
I hope every is having a great morning. Staying dry and warm. Yes its raining here in Nashville Tn. But that wont get me down I rather have rain then snow and ice.
So anyways lets get started you see my title ass,abs, and attitude. I got the thinking last night after conversation I had with a friend of mine. We both discussing our goals I mention the the threat of triple A's as motivation and I know it came out of now where but man I can stop thinking about it.
Ass. I used to be a lazy lethargic ass now I am a healthier more productive ass
Abs. Is the goal I am reaching for. lose my belly love handles and Get the tummy I have always dreamed of and if you ask my close friends a year ago was just a dream.
Attitude. Now that is the biggest accomplishment my whole perspective has changed... I want to eat right I want to workout I WANT TO BE HAPPY and LOVE MYSELF.
As we inch closer to the New Year resolution will be made some kept some failed. I am so happy going in to the New Year as a new me. I am stronger then I have ever been that can be healthy wise and emotionally. I moved here to Nashville My biggest fan/friend/Grandpa/dad died on me and broke my heart. I got depressed and if anyone knows I spent my birthday driving down 40 w I had just a crap end and beginning of year it didn't change till march but wow how my attitude I go into 2011
happy which has made me stronger granted I can say I changed My health now god is still charge of finding me love but I can find good healthy food. I can find my way to either a gym or a track or my living room and find my way to the dvd player and press play/new me.
Every time I press play I keep thinking of my body and me and new me. I know that I have changed. I love the change I embrace the change. I am going to continue this change till its not that its a lifestyle cause no lie I still think its hard work and I still have to mentally prepare. but it gets done yay!!! Now this year I want to lose 25lbs and again be a better happier me. OK so done rambling my food today was pretty good.missed a meal well kinda

breakfast =2 hard boiled egg whites/apple/Greek yogurt
lunch= 4oz swordfish/green beans/black beans
dinner= protein shake
after workout snack protein bar
10 cause I was super hungry = salad with/egg white/bacon/carrots/cheese/sunflower seed
balsamic vinegar

Now that last meal I shouldn't have had!! it was like 10 something I was starving I had to but no lie it was some calories. I still could have had worse but thank god that protein bars taste like candy to me the Carmel and nuts and chocolate yummy.
OK so anyways that's like 400 calories alone the bar so the salad oh wow so will try better today.
Tonight I will be doing a legs and back workout and ab ripper I am telling you I want ABS!!!!!!! SO I hope everyone else has a great day push play and keep motivating and inspiring each other it really helps.

I love my arms!!





Hello Internet world,
I hope everyone is having a great day today. I also hope most of you are able to stay warm its been freezing like crazy here in Nashville. Do you know we had the coldest night the other day since Jan of the previous year yes 2008. Thanks NEWS for the useless knowledge figured I would spread the word. I also will give out this piece of knowledge ladies If you are looking for a mood changer say your down in the dumps they say walnuts carry a mood enhancer that will help cheer you up so next time your in the grocery store switch it up by walnuts instead of almonds for the week. Put a pep in your step and a smile on your face. Yay now lets see
Other then that I did eat much better today's meals were

8:30 morning 2 hard boiled egg whites
11;00 blc which is Bacon Lettuce and Cheese (I am so weird I hate tomatoes but You have seen me eat them in eggs lol cooked haha)
3:00 Tuna salad
6:00 shrimp,muscles,fake crap meat, with ginger and fresh garlic pan fry fat free cooking spray
9:30 protein shake
10:00 finished my whole gallon of water
11:00 went to sleep

Today I did much better eating no lie though I really had to push myself during my workout. normally I never really get the urge to quit but 15 mins I just wasn't feeling it. but no I didn't quit kept going. Then when ab ripper came on I was like nah but for some reason I LOVE MY BODY it wouldn't let me. It was like shit just get this last 13 mins out the way 2 are stretching. anyways I finished the dvd but I will say it was a struggle and if it tested will power I bout failed but I did it and I will say it pays off I love the way my arms look. I remember last year I went to my BTB BALL in a dress that showed my arms and I felt like I had the lunch lady arm the bird flap yes you know that swoop of just fat that hang on your arm if your like no well let me help again pinch under your arm if you have excess fat you know now what I am talking about. I am so proud to say this year I will be wearing a couture gown this year. I want to show every inch of this body especially by feb 20th I should be close to my goal weight by then. I am so excited and I tell you is it me or after a workout like arms or even legs and back or pull up boys out there you know it feels good when its like instant pain and soreness you know you just did serious work. I love that feeling!!! I am going to say this is the last wee I use 5 and 10 pound weights I am now going to try 8 and 12 pounds that's what dreya uses for the dvds and I am really interested in keeping up now, I had taken it easy cause I broke my arm in a few places so now I think the strentgh has built up I am excited. I only use the 8 pound weights for kickbacks and just the sitting down arm lifts. I also am going to try next week Monday to use the 5lb weight for mason twist during ab ripper. I think that will really help my lower abs. which is one of my problem areas. other then that I was thinking about buying some of the 2lb ankle weights and trying them with my legs and back the reason why I want to try to up the weight is now that I have lost 36 lbs I wonder did I lose Resistance. my legs lost like 5lbs does it mean since it is lighter I am not getting as good as a workout before. this is how my mind thinks so I think It is best to add back some weights to try to tone more. I believe it or not ankle weights like 9 bucks these are things that if you want treat yourself to one a week I am buying my 12 lbs this week so that Sunday I don't feel bad about buying ankle weights Sunday for next weeks workout. Same price as what you spend out at the bar. I bet my 12 pound weights will cost 24 bucks for 2. that I will have something to show for my money. what do you show for your money. I was talking to a friend last night who I was saying I hate my stretch marks and I actually now weight less then her and her exact words were wtf your like 10 ft taller then me. I agree I start explaining how the insanity really just 18lbs in 60 days I cant believe it myself really so as we were talking I explained that I had went for a consultation my baby belly and fat ass and thighs I was 200 pounds I was getting pretty big. but the doctor told me it would cost 10 grand yes 10 k yes enough for a down payment on a house car ect. I was discouraged depressed and determined to not spend that instead I spent 275 bucks
130 for p90x 130 for insanity. Now Like I told her If I would have done the surgery I prolly would have only lost 20 pounds granted I wouldn't have stretch marks just a huge freaking scar. I would chances are gain it right back and be fat cause lifestyle was not healthy. and I would be broke. Now though I am 36lbs lighter I love myself, and found a new sense of health. I don't think in a way that even that 10,000 bucks could buy all that. and I will say this If I can get to my goal weight loss of 60 pounds by march that's priceless. and all because of 260 hard earned dollars. But here is the true test can you or do you want to get off the couch and spend 40-60 mins working out? Do you want to look like the girls at the beach or even some of your friends? I read this the other day and it hit me....
While your admiring a persons body and sitting there thinking and wishing how you had it.... That's like 15 mins you could worked out and had that body. You could burned 150 calories. or you can do ab ripper and get the best,ripped abdominal in your life. Stop admiring start doing!!!! I hope everyone has a amazing day!!!! Thanks for reading:)

kick kick kick punch punch punch


Hello Internet world,
I hope everyone has had a great day so far. Well I guess Its easy to say I fell off track. my DEC has been rocky to start with but last week wed was like my last workout. Thursday was my rest day and damn Friday I pulled my calf muscle and omg I have never hurt like that. it was the most strange painful feeling I couldn't walk it felt like the muscle was in the wrong place and swollen to oh gosh I hurt it bad. So anyways I drank sangria, I ate fatty shit food, and I didn't give a damn.
This week I cant do that I have to try to lose at least I would like 7 pounds in 17 days I really really want to be in the 150"s by new years.and worst is I am so close. like super close. like 5 pounds off close. That means yeas I would have loosed 40 something pounds in 9 month. Oh I want to try to push really hard. now sucks though I already can tell you Christmas eve is my new years eve. I will cook drink with my peeps and chillax. But that is going to be hard try not to gain no weight and still lose while drinking. My drinks are fruity crap so they have a bunch of calories. even so if I just do vodka an sprite Its like dang fructose syrup which btw that's bad for you!!!!! Hint coke and Pepsi and mtn dew if its not diet it has that crap. I love the fact I don't care for soda no more that is a great bonus it was not my resolution but a great accomplishment.I went from drinking a average of maybe 600-1000 calories a day of coke crazy!
So Monday that's where this starts haha I wake up and I make coffee no lie I forgot my lipo 6 and I just started on wrong path I didn't eat till like 1.
That was bad. I still had pain in my calf but I can walk on it now and it just has the bruise to prove I hurt it and the tenderness. I felt like I could do a light workout on it but not to heavy no lunges that would have killed me but I did kempo.
I love kempo. so anyways I didn't do that till late like 11 last night. yea we will get back to that. so I its snowed here so it was again a very lazy day hard to drive around in the city its cold last night the temp got to 12 degrees. wtf.
So for lunch though finally around 1 I had a can of progresso soup the spicy southwest chicken. 1 weight watchers point not that I know how that system works but sounds good for you lol. So then around 3pm I was hungry again so I ate some chicken salad. nothing big.
dinner came around
I ate chicken black beans and the bomb salad yum after 45 mins of playing and texting on facebook. I got motivated and wanted tokick some ass burn calories and
feel like I did something not just sat on my ass first day of the week it starts the week wrong I feel. So I knew that core was out of the question to many lunges and my leg still hurt and I thought kempo was perfect. The kicks the punches it was exactly what I needed. and I will say this if you have any stress in your life for 50 mins your kicking the stresses ass you are in charge I go as hard or as fast and I want I am wicked quick I can punch like no other I will not be crotchity!!! haha I love how tony says that he doesn't believe in age be good to your body it will be good to you . and I don't ever want to feel old and crotchity lol.
Now here is for my goal I want to lose another 20 pounds but I bought a pair of white jeans Victoria secret jeans and if any one has ever bought their jeans you have to be built a certain way tall lean I have to get rid of the saddlebags and some booty. I love the way these jeans look and THEY ARE A SIZE 8 which is REALLY like a 6. but I am praying that in the next 90 days that I can loose 20 pounds be a size 8 and take my vacation in April to st,Lucia with some abs and a sexy ass. come on That's what I am working for. My weekend....:)



Hello Internet World,
Hope everyone has ha da great weeken mine was awesome it was lazy it was cold it was also very quiet. So I got tons of pics of yummy tasty low fat and healthy food I also have a new trip planned that I DEFINITELY need to build up strength and flexibility.Snowboarding in the mtns yay!!! 5-6 of my closest friend are joining me for a weekend at sugar mtn we are going to rent a cabin cook drink snowboard ski and tube hell yeahh I am so siked but last year or was it the year before I bought died I was so outta shape so hopefully this year is so much better I am exctied but anyways.... So lets start with Saturday that was a nice day still very sore but I knew I could bust some butt. So once I got done with cleaning and well yea that's my laundry day and well I had to clean kitchen and talk to a dear friend of mine who lives way up in chilly philly so as we discuss our politics and our different taste in literature and sounds funny but I love how smart he is. I have spent 8 years being friends with a very awesome but yet stern strict very set in his ways kind of guy. But my knowledge in my financial fields some of the best tips I have ever got for investing money and stock bonds and mutual funds and well he did teach me everything I know about the stock market and our picks and research on companies and haha I could just ramble on anyways sit and talk to him for 2 hours and then I got off the phone and wanted to eat I have done well as far as food no more going out to eat no more spending money on food that is unhealthy and I want to know everything I put in my mouth. so lets get the pics of food started yay!!
so here is a salad that was for my lunch on sat. well kinda it was my lunch and then 2 hours later I decided to drink a shakeology. That way I could gain some energy not be hungry for awhile which the reason why you are not hungry gosh the taste is so bad that even water taste like crap after! But anyways that night I for dinner made some really good chilli. Now I should added turkey but I didn't screw it. But it was super good and here again more pictures yay:) So this was just Saturday haha Sunday gets better :) but anyways I after was full of energy no lie its like 8-10 at this point do some arms and shoulders and ab ripperx I swear my core right now hurts so bad. so bad. but that means its working that's what my goal is either this round I am gonna lose tummy or thighs and ass either or I am losing one of them damn it. and as I READ AB ARE MADE IN THE KITCHEN! so my food has got to be good for me and tasty well Sunday I have my friend Dr. King lol who is about to marry my friend India yay!!! I am so excited I feel like I was such a huge part of that not really but I love it and they truly are like a fairy tale. So anyways I tell him since he is doing Insanity with me and He is studying for his boards and needed a really good home cooked meal so I told him come over for Sunday dinner I love hosting. I cant wait that's one of the reasons I will buy my first home next year! I want a amazing kitchen :) so anyways Sunday comes around I plan to make the island pork tenderloin I think that's the name Its from the p90x Nutrition Guide I actually will say if you mae the recipes in there They are super good. So here are a few before and After pics and I wont lie Sunday very boring life rest day for body to recover cause this week I am going to try to go at this hard core I want to do my doubles and eat right and work on losing and gaining if that makes sense gain lean muscle lose fat! So here is how I make it Look I slice sweet potato and the apples I slice them up but if you place the apples behind the sweet potato omg the taste of the sweet potato is amazing!!!!

So this is what I made for Sunday dinner all in all
I made the my 4 cheese spinach and I made this awesome salad I find my self trying to eat 1 or 2 salads a day more veggies less fat food. And the Island pork yumyum!!!!
Also if you have a container you can drain your pan and use the juices as like a gravy its amazing that gravy I also think that if you are ever looking for a gravy for your ham and you want to cut out the whole brown sugar or even substitute sugar this would be amazing and all natural yeah crazy uh. Believe me it will make your taste buds jump. Do what I do drain into a ramekin and put a spoon in let each put as much or as little on the pork :) well other then that pretty boring Kev watched some greys anatomy with since he is in the medical field He digs this drama shit lol.
Well I have some workout to do today. As you know its Monday my blogs are always a day late lol I write them the next morning with coffee in hand. While I mentally prepare for my workout of the day. Today is Max Intervals I need to burn max calories and hope that tonight's kempo will be easy!! and quick I love the karate stuff the kick boxing and the punching its fun quick and done before I know it.

Day 2 and already to rough start :)



Good Morning Internet world,
I hope everyone is having a great day thus far..... I am happy alive breathing and so sore its not even funny!! Yes I guess when you take a broken 2 weeks off and then come back at it as hard as I am you feel torn apart. I my abs omg I swear my whole core area wow its so sore that I Pushed and did awesome burned 700 calories during max recovery but ok this is where I already started messing up so I keep hearing form the word form and I can tell you last night trying to do cardio x I got through 16 mins no lie close to 17. My form sucked my keeping my core tight was killing me its so tight and in pain errr. So I gave in and didn't finish decided to rest instead :( . Wish I didn't feel so guilt about it. But I really want to give it my all. The first 2 rounds I was still struggling with food now that I pretty much have all out cut the sodas, the shit food, and finally learned proportions I do think I will be getting more out on p90x plus drinking over a gallon a water a day will do it I have done great at that the last 2 days drinking water water water. so my routine again in a nutshell
7 am wake up coffee and lipo 6 and 20 oz of water
9:32 am start workout Max recovery which really made me sore.
10:20 breakfast eggs again with tomato and scallions and vanilla Greek yogurt.(strawberry taste better)
12pm between water and now some tuna and chips yes I was already hungry again after breakfast.
4pm I finally take my second lipo 6 . and drink more water
5:30 pm make some dinner once again swordfish black beans and asparagus along with a salad. Big dinner cause I either skipped a meal or was just super starving but here are some pics :)

8pm try to do my second work out 16 mins in and 134 calories burned I throw in the towel. call it a night

8:20 drink a muscle milk and ya hand full of almonds I will say serving size 26 sounds about right.
12 I went to sleep.

Now I have got to work more on food not so much what I am eating I got to eat more. but I swear it is so hard. But anyways today I got some chest shoulders ab ripper x which lord I ask for the power to push me through these workouts cause I still on top of that have a max cardio condition ahhhhhh. That's over 2 hours of hard working out. pray for me lol but I cant wait to get my body right and I really am excited I will be hoping to have lost the last bit of weight or even sizes this round and goal is to say 60 lbs gone in one year =) yes goal right now is 10lbs this month but really its 25 in 90days the last 25 to go.
I will be happy if I Can just lose 20 lol but tony your the man and I can do this and so can you just press play!! Have a great day everyone!

As we start back at 1 yay P90X!!!!!! Round 3









Good morning Internet world,
I hope everyone who is up an moving has a blessed and safe day! I am yes I am bright and bushy tailed and May I just say for the lack of sleep which it was just broken cause I forgot when You drink over a gallon a water in a day shoot especially at night after a workout you will pea all night!!! I do I got up 4 times in like 7 hours and each time I get up my dog is like yay play time your early lol so It takes me 5-10 mins of please stop thena. lol and her head laying on my bed while sitting so awkward staring at me lol. but anyways Let me just say ,I was super proud of myself yesterday Wed Dec 1,2010. It is the first day of my Round 3 of p90x and I love it I am so sore my abs/core are tight when I cough it hurts and I love the way it hurts. I rather hurt this way then have a broken heart or any other emotional pain that comes with life. but anyways Lets start with my day
7am wake up no lie Coffee /Colombian with a splash of coffee mate french vanilla and splenda with lipo 6 and I started chugging water bottle.
9am I worked out yes I missed Tony gosh he is sexy to me seeing him core and after 60 days with Shaun. Tony just hits the attention span spot where I follow him and listen to hi and sometimes repeat himself to myself lol. I know I am weird haha but I burned some calories oh I sure did. I Swear this lipo 6 I haven't taken it in 5 weeks and I tell you what I swear once again a rocket was lit under my ass.
10:45 I drink a ovaltine/ milk drink to kinda recover I need to buy recovery drink but I hate spending 50 bucks on a drink I already bitch about 20 on protein at gnc.
So I also make 1 egg with 4 egg white I also add scallions and tomato's for flavor pic there :)
I also had a Greek yogurt.
12PM APPLE
2pm Ok so here let me just say I am already 60 oz into my gallon I drink a lot which is what keeps me from being hungry and its not a good thing :(
3 PM Lunch was @@@@@@@@@ drum roll @@@@@@@@ Shakeology
I suggest get choco flavor because anything in the world taste better then the ass and apple crap I am chugging down the greencrap is nasty I almost puke every time I drink it. seriously I have to hold my breath and chug it down if I stop and breath It might come up.... so that's my advice
5pm I am starving no lie but I forget to eat and I didnt want to mess up my workout routine so I talk to my bff and grab 26 almonds that is a serving size people yes count it out!!!!
5:45pm workout and no lie I barley made it through I my abs were already getting sore from core and Shaun didn't help so i gave plyo maybe 60 %effort I will give the max recovery 100% today!!!I swear!
7PM SHOWER AND MAKE DINNER
Swordfish /black beans /salad
Now I would have a picture but couldn't find my camera and honestly I saw food and couldn't hold off to look for camera I was hungry!!!!
9 pm I eat 13 mini rice cakes with a glass of milk serving size is 113 calories and fixes sweet tooth.
11pm bed
I have no life lol btw pic up top of my 3-4 days fruit apples mangos and avacados yummy.
So anyways today I had cardio and then max recovery tonight but I think I am going to switch it cause max is more intense and so I also think cardio x is for some reason a easy workout by the time I am done stretching lol yoga part I only have like 20 mins to go woot woot.
