Well today was day 2. I am so glad that its done and over with its getting hard now and its only the end of day 2. I was so sore this morning and I can tell you now I am going to be dying tomorrow. Ok so again I have a boring life....
7:30 am I woke up oh and struggled rolling out of bed I was kinda sore with yesterdays workout and plus didn't sleep so great. When you drink a gallon of water a day boy you wake up through the night I did. Maybe its cause I had to down the last 10oz before bed to make my goal :)
But anyways I took my lipo 6 and made some green tea. I like most people wake up and right after I have my tea in hand I sit down and check emails and get on facebook every morning drink my tea catch up on reading my fav blog of one of my fellow p90x grads we graduated together sorta say lol. But then I read aol homepage oh and during this time. I take the dog out and smell the fresh air and its so nice. also I cook tomorrows breakfast today that way its done and honestly The lipo 6 was taking away my hunger and perfect you will see in a sec
By that point though I was mentally prepared and its 8:00 am and I make my protein shake.
so the nutrition guide says a protein shake for breakfast and that's it,and well since I don't want to add berries and bananas to it. I switch it up add some plain Greek yogurt and little skim fat free milk and my choc whey protein. Well for future I am going to try vanilla flavored cause boy it needed something maybe its just me getting used to the Greek yogurt it does have a different taste then regular stuff.

so 8:30 comes around I am pumped I do my legs and back workout and I give it all I have my legs are tight. But I have to go hard when it comes to this workout its one of my problem areas. I have great calves but my thighs. I hate the top of them. so as Tony whips me in shape I am so tired but make it through the sneaky lunge the calf raises and I hate I really hate the chair pose. I bout roll over every time it just kills my legs.
one thing I don't do is the ab ripper during the day I dont know why but I love to do it before bed.
10:00am is here recovery drink it is. after that its shower and get on with my day I cant just sit here and workout all day so I go to bank run my errands ect.
pretty boring life. My sister was off today we live together which is nice to bad she cant stand workout tapes she wont do p90x with me .so I don't even bother trying to push her. My Mom goes at it harder. which I wish I could have recorded that. My mom doing cardio x with me it was awesome at 55 she was keeping up with me but anyways . We sat around watched some tv cooked lunch late because I had to fit a snack in and since I had a recovery drink . I couldn't really just drink a protein shake back to back. so I had that around 12:00 well around 1:30 I ate lunch. made the stir fry with chicken though not shrimp and ate the left over wild rice. instead of cashews and sunflower seeds.
3:00 pm take lipo 6 and start typing this blog. During the day I also do a lot of research on weight loss and recipes. but right now I am just following the p90x nutrition guide and drinking one gallon of water a day. I don't want to mess up and fall off track. so no point in trying anything else till I have to. I did make my own protein bars. They are so yummy I have given them to some friends and they fell in love and can save some money and great healthy snack.
recipe is
3 SCOOPS OF CHOC.PROTEIN POWDER
1 HALF A JAR NATURAL CRUNCHY PEANUT BUTTER
1 CUP DRIED CRANBERRIES
1 CUPS ALMONDS (NO SALT)
1 CUP SUNFLOWER KERNELS
1 CUP DRIED OATS
HALF THE PINT CARTON CUP OF HEAVY WHIPPED CREAM
I mix it all together and I make them into like little balls almost like the candy Rochette . Stick it in the fridge in a glad container and after about 2 hours there you go.
3 is a serving size and honestly it taste like candy to me:) will post some pics tomorrow yum yum
So anyways....
5:something came around I still had a workout I needed to get done so I got some cardio x in which I love its so short to me I always feel like the yoga is part of the warm up. By the time that's done there is like 26 mins left and that just flys by..
Now here is the part where I feel guilty. I wish I could say I went for my run but I couldn't I was so tired and sore at this point. Instead I got my behind in the kitchen. I got a good deal on fish at the market so instead of turkey for dinner I had that tilapia left. I cooked it. I shop for deals P90x its not a cheap program but things that work rarely are. So they had a pound for 3.99 that was 4 fillets so that is dinner for 2 nights for my sister and I :) we threw some spinach and miso soup and that hit the spot. Food gets costly I do often find myself replacing lean meats hint shrimp/ chicken at lunch and dinner too. As long as its a lean small portion you should be fine.
So I was done eating at 8 and again to tired to run so I watched some tv. I wrote this and in about a hour. I will find myself asleep recovering from a hard workout and day.
Thank God I pushed Play I feel so much better when I do. I feel productive and sore :)
